backpacker's misadventures

This event will not happen if not because of Team Super. Thanks again for making us part of this charity event (fun run for a cause).



I'm really not a morning person.
But with this kind of activity, i get motivated to leave my comfort zone (sleeping in my bed during everybody is all in their deep sleep, supposedly). I woke up at 4am (not really that early) since the Fort is near my place and is just right, I guess, to catch on the call time.

Thanks to Marvs for helping us go there. Also for waiting us at our meeting place for several minutes which is a bummer for me (i promise not to be late this year). I let him wait and what's worse, i asked for a big favor of going back to my crib since i forgot my number. Sorry for causing delay and also bunch of money for the extra mile consumption of gas.

Fortunately when we get there, we still have enough time to claim our singlets and pee.

We started the 5k run at exactly 5.45.



I finished the race in 32 mins. On my assumption, my clock time is good for 60th or less. Naks. Lakas :D Pero ewan.. baka 100th or more. hehe
Actually I performed my best. and if I will push myself more, I will be in coma. hehe (ayun na talaga ung pace ko.. wala ng hihigit pa sa tingin ko)



The place is jam-packed. Some brought their dogs and costumes with them. The highlight is Optimus Prime. :D

After this race, i got an answer with the question: "Anong meron sa taong happy?" All along i thought it is just enervon (ayos sa libre advertisement :D ) But it is really good friends :D Naks naman!
